Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer
I started working at the JCC when I worked at the JCC Day Camp for 9 summers as a Unit Director. I was a runner and triathlete, and began teaching fitness classes at the Wilkes-Barre JCC with spinning and body weight classes. I also coached the cross- country team for Wyoming Seminary Lower School for 6 years.
I have worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I am a NETA certified personal trainer and hold a certification as a Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist and recently for Parkinson’s Exercise training. I am currently teaching a variety of group classes at the JCC, Vive Health and Fitness and Medical Oncology Associates.
I love helping motivate people and to show them that no matter what age you are, it is never too late to start exercising. It is so important to always “KEEP MOVING” even if you don’t want to. You will ALWAYS feel better afterwards.
These are the following classes that I teach at Friedman JCC. I hope to see you soon.
- Mondays – Strong & Nimble, Parkinson’s Fitness I, Parkinson’s Fitness II
- Tuesdays – Barre Class, Senior Strength & Fitness
- Wednesdays – Parkinson’s Fitness II
- Thursdays – Parkinson’s Fitness I
- Fridays – No classes
